The Director General of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Bukola Olopade, and the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, will lead an array of high-profile dignitaries to the November 2025/2026 edition of the NNL/PROSTAR INT’L/SPORTLIGHT Hub Monthly Award.
The ceremony is scheduled for 16 December 2025 at Westpoint Hotel, Wuse Zone 7, behind FRSC FCT Command, Abuja.
The prestigious event, dedicated to recognising excellence and development within the Nigeria National League (NNL), is expected to attract influential figures from across the Nigerian football fraternity and the wider sports sector. Among the notable personalities invited are the Director General of the National Institute for Sports, Comrade Philip Shaibu; veteran broadcaster and media icon, Mainasara Ilo; and former Super Eagles legend, Daniel Amokachi, alongside several distinguished guests.
This edition marks the first award ceremony of the new NNL season and will spotlight outstanding contributors whose performances and professionalism have shaped early-season action across the league.

Highest Goal Scorer: Michael Adegbite (Crown FC) — 3 goals in 2 matches, including a superb brace.
Most Valuable Player (MVP): Michael Adegbite (Crown FC) — Honoured for consistency, creativity, and decisive influence in games.
Best Referee: Abdulwahab Jibrin — From the Katsina Referees Council, recognised for fairness and professionalism.
Best Goalkeeper: Majayogbe Muyiwa (Crown FC) — Rewarded for his command between the posts and timely saves.
Best Coach: Najeeb Mabo (Doma United FC) — Celebrated for tactical excellence and team discipline.
Best Goal: Ogonyi Matthew Okpahe (Doma United FC) — Awarded for his exceptional strike on Matchday 3 against ABS FC.
Mighty Jets of Jos clinched the Best Behaved Team award.
