Ex- Deputy Governor, Madumere Charges Ndi Imo to Embrace Renewal and Collective Growth in March
Former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, has extended warm felicitations to the people of the state as they step into the month of March, urging them to embrace the season as a time of strength, renewal and collective advancement.
In his New Month message issued on Sunday, March 1, 2026, Madumere described March as a symbolic period historically associated with resilience and rebirth. Drawing from its origin as “Martius,” linked to the Roman god of war, he noted that the month represents courage, determination and the indomitable spirit required to overcome challenges and pursue meaningful progress.
He likened the month to a season of transformation, when nature emerges from dormancy into blossoming life and fresh possibilities, and charged the people of Imo to reflect the same spirit in their personal and collective pursuits.
Addressing “Ndi Imo nke m” with heartfelt affection, the former deputy governor called on every son and daughter of the state to rise with renewed energy and sharper focus.
He emphasized the need for a steadfast commitment to the growth, welfare and dignity of all citizens, stressing that Imo’s immense human and natural resources must be harnessed for sustainable development.
Madumere highlighted the industrious and purposeful nature of Imo people, urging them to build stronger homes, more productive businesses and more cohesive communities that would elevate the state’s profile across Nigeria and beyond.
He also directed a message to leaders at all levels of governance, from grassroots administrators to those in the legislative and executive arms, reminding them that true leadership is rooted in integrity, transparency and sacrifice in service to the people.
“This is our season,” he declared, encouraging Ndi Imo to walk into March with boldness of purpose, unity of spirit and faith in God.
The former deputy governor concluded with prayers for new opportunities, prosperity, good health and enduring peace in every household across the length and breadth of Imo State, wishing all citizens a happy and fulfilling new month.
