SWAN Imo Celebrates Eke’s Rise Following Best Referee Award
The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Imo State Chapter, has lauded referee Henry Eke following his emergence as the Best Referee of the Month for January 2026 in the Nigeria National League.
In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Cosmos Chukwuemeka, and Secretary, Tunde Liadi, the association described the award as a fitting reward for Eke’s dedication, discipline, and consistent performances.
SWAN noted that Eke’s steady rise in officiating and his commitment to maintaining the integrity of the game have set him apart, making him deserving of the recognition.
